Villainous is an animated web and television series created by Alan Ituriel for thatplacetohangout.com and later acquired by Cartoon Network.
Animations[]
- Villainous (2012 - 2013). A set of 7 webisodes created by Alan Ituriel previous to being acquired by Cartoon Network. They've been removed from the Internet following the acquisition.
- Villainous Phase One (May 18, 2017). A set of 10 shorts.
- Videos de orientación para Villanos (Orientation Videos for Villains) (November 4, 2017 - February 9, 2019). A miniseries where the characters of Villainous analyze the tactics and mistakes of popular Cartoon Network shows' villains. Latin American-exclusive, it consists of 11 episodes.
- Villainous Phase Two (December 19, 2017 - October 30, 2018). A second set consisting of 8 shorts.
- Villainous (June 01, 2019 - present). The first season of the series, consisting of the series' pilot and 5 episodes.
Web Comic[]
- Villainous Comics (October 4, 2017 - present). A series of comics published on the Facebook account of Cartoon Network Mexico, with later translations in English and Portuguese for some of them.
- Villanos: Rescate Reducido (Shrunk Rescue) (October 26, 2022 - February 8, 2023). A 16-chapters webcomic published exclusively on the LatAm Cartoon Network app, starring the hero Sunblast and Penumbra's pet rat Curie as they search for her.
A series of Instagram posts under the handle "the_numbrax" were posted between 2020 and 2021, detailing the ongoings on the life of minor villain character Penumbra and hero Sunblast following the events of "The Dreadful Dawn".
