Video Mods is a television series by MTV which showed music videos starring video game characters. These were often created by collaborating with each song's artist, and would range from recreating the original music videos to creating completely original concepts. Beside the videos themselves, some episodes would also give a behind-the-scenes look at the creation process, and would serve as cross-promotion for recently released or upcoming games.
The show aired irregularly on MTV2 from December 2003 to November 21st, 2005. A total of 41 videos were produced, including one for the original song "Stand and Choose", which would be shown outside the episodes as a regular music video, but was listed among the series' videos on the official site.
Because most of the videos feature completely different characters, this series is considered an "anthology series", as each video is treated as part of the featured game's series, with Video Mods simply collecting them together; only the original "Stand and Choose" video is treated as a proper fictional universe in the Video Mods series.

- In December 2003, a pilot episode was aired that included three music videos.
- From September 18th to October 16th, 2004, the first season of the show aired biweekly, consisting of three episodes of four videos each.
- On October 6th, 2004, the video for the original song "Stand and Choose" by VG Unity premiered.
- In March 2005, a music video for the Breaking Benjamin song "So Cold" starring Half-Life 2 characters aired.
- From June 24th to November 21st, 2005, the second season of the show aired monthly, consisting of six episodes, each ranging from three to five videos for a total of 24 videos.
Additionally, on September 25th, 2020, show producer Tony Shiff shared the original pitch video for the show on YouTube, starring characters from BloodRayne playing System of a Down's "Chop Suey". However, this is not considered an actual part of the series.

Note: As mentioned above, only the original "Stand and Choose" video is considered a "Video Mods universe", so included characters create an in-universe link, while every other video is treated as part of the featured games' series and its inclusion counts as a Type 2 Link; the four videos featuring characters from different series together ("Let's Get It Started", "All Downhill From Here", "Ride", and "1, 2 Step") create undirect in-universe links between those series, and are only listed in their specific pages.
