The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy (also known as the Cornetto Trilogy or the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy) is an anthology series of British comedic genre films written and directed by Edgar Wright and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The trilogy is named after joking references to Cornetto ice cream cones in each film.
Shaun of the Dead revolves around Shaun, an electronics salesman whose uneventful life is inexplicably interrupted by a zombie invasion. Shaun must now come to the rescue of his ex-girlfriend Liz and mother Barbara, with his loyal friend Ed by his side.
Hot Fuzz centres on hot-shot police officer Nicholas Angel, who is reassigned to the crime-free village of Sanford, Gloucestershire by his superiors. He, along with police officer Danny Butterman investigate a series of mysterious and gruesome deaths that have struck the town.
The World's End features Gary King, who reunites with his five childhood friends and return to their hometown to reattempt their epic pub-crawl they failed twenty-three years earlier, only to discover the town is in the midst of an alien invasion.
