The Baz (Mascot)

The Baz (Also known as Zubaz) is an original character created by the minds behind Two Best Friends Play. Although he is inspired by a scrapped character from Street Fighter, he is still considered his own entity so he is labelled as a mascot character. His role is to appear in various video games (Usually indie games) on a quest to find where he belongs.

Appearances[]

Divekick (August 20th, 2013): The Baz appears as a playable character in the game.
Shovel Knight (June 26th, 2014): The Baz can be found as one of the knights wandering around on the overworld map.
~~Colossal Kaiju Combat~~ (August 11th, 2014): The Baz was set to appear as Mecha Baz as a playable Kaiju before it was canceled.
Pocket Rumble (February 1st, 2016): The Baz appears as a playable character in the game.
Devil Engine (February 21st, 2019): A mech for The Baz appears as an enemy in Devil Engine.
Indivisible (October 8th, 2019): The Baz serves as the bouncer to Mara's Den.
The TakeOver (November 9th, 2019): The Baz appears as the boss of Stage 3.
Petal Crash (October 12th, 2020): The Baz appears as a secret unlockable character in the game.
Slipstream (April 7th, 2022): The Baz appears as one of the drivers in the game.
Frogun (August 2nd, 2022): An enemy designed off of The Baz called BazBug appears in the game.

Skullgirls (April 17th, 2015): Beowulf has a skin based on The Baz.
Combat Core (August 18th, 2016): A costume based on The Baz can be used on your custom character.
Hollow Knight (February 24th, 2017): You can find a plaque in the game written by a bug version of The Baz named "Zubug".
Clam Man (May 23rd, 2019): The Baz appears on a poster in the game.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (June 18th, 2019): By inserting the cheat code "BULLFIGHTER" you can unlock a mask of The Baz's face.
One Step From Eden (March 26th, 2020): Baz's whip appears as a spell in the game.
Champion of Venus (April 18th, 2023): A signed photograph of The Baz can be found in the game.
