Bonus characters[]
I just wanted to point out that these "characters" are just secret collectable items, so I probably would have counted them as type 2. Now, I believe they're officially called "characters" in japanese, so I'm okay to say they're just small character cameos and consider them type 1 (a very weak type 1), but you know, I just wanted to point this out in case anybody doesn't know what their role is and wishes to argue further.--Kombatgod (talk) 12:53, August 6, 2018 (UTC)
- To be honest, I was in doubt while writing it as well. There are a few "characters" in the list that are non-sentient items (like items in Mappy and the Bosconian missile), but there are also actual human/sentient characters in there (Mappy, Dig Dug, Ki, Maigo, etc), so I couldn't decide right away and that's why I left this one on the backburner for a long while. I sorta choose to make them Link 1 due to the official description and the human characters who are part of this, but I can certainly understand if you'd prefer to revert them to Link 2 really. I was also thinking on editing the introduction (or perhaps directly do a summary page instead) to explain these "bonus characters" since it sorta sounds like they are playable characters or something like that :P Strider Kage (talk) 08:03, August 7, 2018 (UTC)
