Tetris Attack is referenced in the Lip's Stick trophy:

# Name Image Console, game Description How to Unlock
92 Lip's Stick SSBM Trophy 092 Lips Stick Panel De Pon
Japan Only
This magical stick was used by the character Lip in the Japanese game Panel De Pon, which was later released as Tetris Attack in the United States. Lip's Stick causes a flower to sprout from an enemy's head, inflicting damage as it grows. Quickly tap the Control Stick back and forth to get a flower off of your head.Perform 20 combos in Training Mode

However this might bee considered only an undirect rference, since the trophy references Tetris only as the alternate title for Panel de Pon.

Remixes of the classics "Type A" and "Type B" musics from Tetris are featured in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as music tracks for the Luigi's Mansion stage, titled Tetris: Type A and Tetris: Type B.

Links to the songs: [1] and [2]

This is considered a type 3 link because music is not supposed to be heard by the game characters, but only by the player, so only the players are able to see the connection between the two series.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, they where able to freely reference Tetris Attack, being an original Nintendo game.

About Super Smash Bros. Brawl, while the classic Tetris music (an arrangement of Korobeiniki) was used in many Tetris games, it was actually an original creation from Nintendo, being featured for the first time in the Game Boy game, so they could use it in their original game.
