Slender Man, as it appears in Slender: The Eight Pages.
Slender is a horror series based on the fictional character Slender Man, a thin, tall humanoid figure wearing a suit, usually depicted with a featureless face and spreading tentacles. The character was created by Eric Knudsen (who goes by the username "Victor Surge") who holds the rights for it.
Slender Man originally appeared in two photoshopped images posted on June 10th, 2009 in the Something Awful Internet forum by Eric Knudsen. Since then Victor Surge created some more images featuring the character.
While the character quickly entered folklore status and appeared in many works, most notably "creepypasta" very few had been officially authorized.
Despite some unauthorized works being accepted as expanding the character's lore, all those works are not considered part of the series to this Wiki. This includes the two mobile games Slender Rising (2013) and Slender Rising 2 (2014). Only authorized works will be listed on this page.
