The Boss microgame in the Sports category of the game is titled "Punch Out" and is clearly inspired on Punch-Out!!, featuring a similar gameplay and main character.
Like all other microgames from the game, this one returns in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!
It also appears within Level 3 of the Famicom/Button Masher microgame in WarioWare: Touched!, and then returns in WarioWare Gold as Jimmy T's boss microgame in the Mash League.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves

One of 9-Volt and 18-Volt's microgames is Punch-Out!! and is specifically based on the NES game. Instead of controlling Little Mac, the microgame puts the player in control of the referee (which happens to be Mario), after Little Mac's opponent has been knocked down. Starting from the "Umbrella" form, the player must move the Wiimote to make the referee count to ten, ending the match. In Level 1 the counter starts at 7, and the opponent is Glass Joe, in Level 2 the counter starts at 6, and the opponent is Von Kasier, in Level 3 the counter starts at 5, and the opponent is Bald Bull.
