  • Pitfall! (August 20th, 1982) for Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit, ColecoVision, Commodore 64, and Intellivision
  • Pitfall II: Lost Caverns (February 10th, 1984) for Atari 2600, Apple II, Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit, ColecoVision, Commodore 64, MSX, and ZX Spectrum. The Atari 5200 and Atari 8-bit versions were called Adventurer's Edition in the title screen, since they feature an extra level.
  • Super Pitfall (September 5th, 1986) for NES and NEC PC-8801
  • Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure (November 1994) for SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Atari Jaguar, PC, Game Boy Advance, and Wii Virtual Console. It includes the original Pitfall! (Atari 2600 version) as an unlockable minigame
  • Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle (February 28th, 1998) for PlayStation
  • Pitfall: The Lost Expedition (February 18th, 2004) for GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC, and Wii. The Wii version was titled Pitfall: The Big Adventure.
  • Pitfall! (August 9th, 2012) for iOS
  • Pitfall! Krave (March 12th, 2014) for iOS and Android. Also known as Pitfall! Choco Krave, it might be considered an update to the iOS game Pitfall! rather than a different game.

Remakes[]

  • Pitfall II: Lost Caverns (1985) for Arcade and SG-1000. A blend of Pitfall! and Pitfall II, made by Sega.
  • Pitfall: Beyond the Jungle (December 1998) for Game Boy Color. Based on the PlayStation game. Called Pitfall GB in Japan.
  • Pitfall: The Lost Expedition (February 18th, 2004) for Game Boy Advance

TV[]

An animated TV series based on the original game was featured in 1983 in the Saturday Supercade cartoon lineup. It only lasted 7 episodes, from September 17 to December 3.
