Pico is a series of Flash games and animations by Tom Fulp, published on his site Newgrounds.com.
It stars Pico, Darnell, and Nene, three young kids usually depicted as having a twisted personality.
The series started in April 1st, 1999 with the release on Newgrounds of the hub interface Pico - Fun Edutainment for Today's Kids! giving profiles to the three protagonists with links to their respective games, although Pico only had a teaser page initially.
The series' main pillar, Pico's School, was added in July 25th, 1999, and it's about Pico surviving a school shooting and then trying to stop the "Goth Kids" that caused it, but potentially contributing to the massacre in the process.

After releasing two minor games in 1999 and 2000 respectively, Tom Fulp announced a sequel to Pico's School, tentatively titled Pico 2, but despite posting various updates at different stages of development, it was never realized. Nonetheless, Pico's design for the sequel, made by Newgrounds artist Jose Ortiz aka MindChamber, served as the basis for the character's look as he became one of the site's mascots.
Due to the character's popularity he became the subject of many fan-made projects which were posted on the site; most notably, April 30th, 2006 marked the introduction of "Pico Day", an annual celebration of the character and Newgrounds in general, with cash prizes given out to the best submissions.
Most of the subsequent works starring Pico have been fanmade (with Tom Fulp directly contributing only to Pico Day 2006 and 2007), so the character has been depicted in many different ways with only a few of these works expanding his universe with a sequel of sorts while most of them either adapt Pico's School directly, reinvent the character in an original way, or serve as meta-commentary for the site, turning Pico into a hero who protects the Newgrounds world from invaders representing bad Flashes.
With the Pico IP being owned by Tom Fulp, it's hard to identify which works count as official entries since even the least interesting fanmade movies were released on his very site. The following are lists of works in the Pico series separated by degree of officiality:

- Pico's Roulette (April 30, 2007), an online multiplayer-only remake of Pico vs. Uberkids including more characters, co-created by PsychoGoldfish and BrenTheMan, and posted for Pico Day 2007. Server closed and the game was removed from the site around Pico Day 2013.
- Pico's School: Love Conquers All (April 1, 2021). A remake of Pico's School where Pico talks the villains out of doing the school shooting. First replaced the original game in Newsground as an April Fools joke, it was given its own page the following day.
Additionally the unfinished Pico 2 build was published for Pico Day 2014, but it was only made accessable to Newgrounds Supporters.

- Pico's Cousin (May 13, 2003) by Magna. A sequel to Pico's School starring Pico's cousin Otis. Otis later made an appearance in Pico vs. Convict as one of Convict's transformations, which arguably recognizes this game as part of the official Pico universe.
- Alien Hominid vs. Pico (July 4, 2003) by rebornMCW. An epic battle between Pico and Alien Hominid, it was acknowledged as part of Alien Hominid's official history in Newgrounds Rumble.

- The Provoker (June 24, 2000) by seriousness. The earliest known Pico fangame, it was highlighted on the official Pico page in December 2001.
- Pico's Mansion (January 13, 2003) by Jeremy Mills aka Cell. A sequel to Pico's School, set 3 years later.
- Pico VS Zombies DoD (March 2, 2004) by SickDeathFiend. Fully titled Pico VS Zombies: Dusk of the Dead, it was highlighted on the official Pico page in April 2005.
