Nintendogs is a series of real-time pet simulation video games created by Nintendo for handheld consoles. Two games have been released, but they come in many different versions, for a total of 8 different releases:

- Nintendogs (April 21, 2005), Nintendo DS. Originally coming in three different versions, depending on the featured breeds: Lab & Friends (known as Shiba Inu & Friends in Japan), Dachshund & Friends and Chihuahua & Friends. There have also been two other versions:
- Nintendogs: Best Friends (October 24, 2005), only released in Europe and North America in a boundle with a light blue Nintendo DS. It features some breeds from all three versions, but no exclusive ones.
- Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends (June 16, 2006), only released in Europe and North America, it features some breeds from all three versions, with the previously unlockable Dalmatian as a starter breed.
- Nintendogs + Cats (February 26, 2011), Nintendo DS. It comes in three different versions, depending on the featured breeds: Golden Retriever & New Friends (known as Shiba Inu & New Friends in Japan), French Bulldog & New Friends and Toy Poodle & New Friends.
Nintendo of America also released two series of Nintendogs trading cards called Nintendogs 6-Card Fun Paks, the first series being released in 2005 and the second in 2007.
Nintendo also released in 2007 a series of twelve Nintendogs plush toys, based on the most famous breeds from the game.
