One of the tracks in the game is called "Wario Paint", referencing the game Mario Paint, and Mario's rival Wario. The track itself, however doesn't have any special feature.

Additionally, the promotional video "Nintendo Power Previews #9" showed a gameplay clip where the names and images of the Tours are based on other Nintendo series. These are specifically:

Uniracers preview

The preview Tour select screen.

  • Zelda, showing artwork of Link from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
  • Mario, showing artwork of the character from Super Mario Bros. 3.
  • Kirby, showing artwork of the character from Kirby's Dream Land.
  • Metroid, showing mirrored artwork of Samus from Metroid II.
  • D.K., showing artwork of Donkey Kong from Game Boy Donkey Kong.
  • Yoshi, showing artwork of the character from Super Mario World, edited to remove Mario from his back.
  • Wario, showing artwork of the character from Super Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
  • Star Fox, showing artwork of Fox McCloud from the original Star Fox.
  • Ultra 64, based on the initial development name of the Nintendo 64, showing an unknown logo for it.

It's unknown if these Tour names and images were originally meant to appear in the final game and were later scrapped, or if they were ever only used as placeholders during development; regardless, because they made it into a public preview video they constitute notable unreleased links.
