'New Space Order is a science-fiction Real Time Strategy video game series by Namco. Although cancelled, it is still part of Namco's larger UGSF Timeline.
Video Game[]
- New Space Order (Cancelled) forArcade. The game went through a beta testing phase in August 26th, 2004, and was presented at the AOU trade show in February 16th, 2007. After 2 years without an update, the game's cancellation was announced via the official site in 2009.
Publications[]
Besides the game itself, two other pieces of media were released:
- New Space Order Short Story (February 2007). An 8-part written short story published in the official site, serving as a prequel to the game.
- New Space Order -Link of Life- (February 2007). A 10-part flash-based novel published through the official site, telling a story set in the world of the game.
The official website for New Space Order also included a lot of notes, artwork and backstory text explaining in great detail its world, setting and factions.
