Murder by Numbers is a visual novel puzzle video game developed by Mediatonic and published by The Irregular Corporation.
The game follows an actress named Honor Mizrahi who is suddenly fired from a television series by the producer. Coincidentally, the same day, she meets SCOUT, a robot suffering from memory loss that is capable of scanning locations for information. When the producer of the show is murdered and suspicion falls on Honor, she and SCOUT must work together to investigate his death and find the true killer. But upon solving the case, the pair discover a wider conspiracy that they must unravel to learn the whole truth behind Honor's firing and SCOUT's past.
