Metal Gear is a series is a series of action-adventure stealth video games, created by Hideo Kojima and developed and published by Konami.
Each game stars a character codenamed Snake: Solid Snake in most games, Big Boss aka Naked Snake in prequel games, and Raiden (codenamed Snake at the beginning of Metal Gear Solid 2) in two games.
