Hello Kitty is a series by Sanrio centered around the titular cat.

It started as a series of merchandise items in 1974, and continues to this day, but the character has also appeared in other media.


  • Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater, TV series that ran for 13 episodes from September 19 to December 12, 1987.
  • Hello Kitty and Friends, TV series that ran for 13 episodes in 1993.
  • Hello Kitty's Paradise, a variety show that ran from 1999 to 2011, also including original shorts.
  • Hello Kitty's Animation Theater, TV series that ran for 13 episodes in 2000.
  • Hello Kitty Stump Village, clay-animated TV series that run for 26 episodes in 2005.
  • The Adventures of Hello Kitty & Friends, computer-animated TV series that run for 52 episodes, premiering in 2006.

A full-length Hello Kitty theatrical feature is also scheduled for a 2019 release.
