Taira no Kagekiyo, the main character in Genpei Toma Den.
Genpei Toma Den (lit. The Tale of Demon Extermination in Genpei (Era)) is a series of 2D side-scrolling video games by Namco.

- Genpei Toma Den (October 1st, 1986) for Arcade, Sharp X68000, NES, PC-Engine, Wii Virtual Console, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The version included in Namco Museum Vol. 4 was localized in English under the title The Genji and the Heike Clans.
- Genpei Toma Den: Computer Boardgame (October 21st, 1988) for NES. A board game-themed RPG retelling the original game's story.
- Genpei Toma Den: Kan no Ki (April 7th, 1992) for TurboGrafx-16 and Wii Virtual Console. Localized in English under the title Samurai-Ghost.
- Genpei Rennai Kumi e Den (December 15th, 2015) for Browsers. A tile-match puzzle game set in the Genpei Toma Den universe. Part of the Namco Catalog IP program created for the 10th anniversary of the Bandai Namco merger.

- Scar (April 12th, 2012 - July 12th, 2012). A web comic by ShiftyLook very loosely based on Genpei Toma Den, consisting of 27 strips. A second arc subtitled "Eve of Destruction" lasted from August 2nd to November 1st, 2012 for a total of 26 strips.
