On June 6th, 2021, the second teaser for Chapter 2: Season 7 was released, which showcased several items from the new season, including a pair of glasses, teasing Superman cosmetics.
On June 7th, 2021, the cinematic story trailer for Chapter 2: Season 7 was released, which showcased UFOs taking over the Island, with Clark Kent watching it on the news at the Daily Planet.

Clark Kent is the Secret Skin in the Chapter 2: Season 7 Battle Pass. Superman suit is based on The New 52 relaunch of DC Comics, albeit with red trunks similar to his classic appearance. His selectable colour, dubbed Shadow, vaguely resembles his Recovery suit, which first appeared in Superman: The Man of Steel #25. Clark Kent/Superman is the first Outfit to have an unique skydiving animation.

Clark Kent was a Character who appeared in The Orchard. He gives away several Quests that reward the Player with Gold, such as: Defeat Aliens (80 Gold), Visit different Named Locations (120 Gold), and Visit Mothership or an Alien Biome (120 Gold). He can also reveal future storm circles for 170 Gold.

The Superman Quests were a set of Quests in Fortnite: Battle Royale, available from August 10th, 2021 to September 13th, 2021 for all Battle Pass owners. The Quests follow Clark Kent regaining his memories after being transported into Reality Zero.

On June 7th, 2025, in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3: Super Cinematic Intro Trailer, Superman flies in and rescues the falling Battle Bus. An additional scene of Superman destroying one of Daigo's shards using his Heat Vision appears in the Cinematic Gameplay Trailer.
Superman accidentally rifted into Reality: 783, finding himself on the Oninoshima island. Superman aids Jones and Hope's Supernova Academy by offering mentorship to the new young heroes, hoping to save Daigo from his fate.

Superman is the Secret Skin in the Chapter 6: Season 3 Battle Pass, and the first Outfit in the "Superman" set. He is based on David Corenswet's portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman in Superman (2025). He can be obtained immediately after purchasing the Battle Bundle for the Chapter 6: Season 3 Battle Pass.
Superman's Selectable Style, Superman (Pen & Ink), is based on his appearance in the Superman (1940) TV series, animated by Fleischer Studios. The style itself, however, was designed by Jim Lee, a comic book artist and current president of DC Comics as of 2023. When selecting this style in the Battle Pass, his signature will also appear in the top right corner.
Several Characters have special dialogues for players wearing the Superman Outfit:

Krypto Treat[]
Throw a superpowered dog treat - Krypto will come crashing down where it lands!
Krypto Treat is a Mythic Item in Fortnite, first added on June 7th, 2025. Players can throw the Krypto Treat, and wherever the Krypto Treat lands, that is where Krypto the Super Dog will land, dive bombing to the ground and dealing 100 damage to anyone and anything within the vicinity of his area-of-effect attack.
Superman Sprite[]
The Superman Sprite is a type of Sprite first added on June 7th, 2025. It appears similarly to the Water Sprites, with a blue-gradient body, wearing Superman's cape, trunks, and symbol.
Sprites roam around certain areas of the map, and will flee from the player if approached or attacked and can be picked up and carried. When a carried Sprite is not the currently held item, it will take the place of the player's Back Bling. Depositing a Sprite into a Sprite Shrine will free the Sprite and grant the player Epic tier loot including a Boon corresponding to the element of the Sprite.
When aiming down sights, the Superman Sprite is able to use it's Heat Vision to damage enemies.

Superman is a Character who appears in Supernova Academy. He sells a patch-up (200 Bars) and can activate a Rift (450 Bars). If you interact with Superman as Clark Kent, he will ask "Have we... met...?". Superman is unable to take any damage.
