Lore[]
On February 19th, 2021, a Reality Log was released on Fortnite's social media accounts, teasing the Street Fighter cosmetics. The description for the video reads: :: Incoming Transmission - Reality Log 3DO-T :: Targets Description: Round 1. FIGHT. In the audio log, Agent Jones is being trained by Ryu whilst trying to recruit him as a Hunter, to unsuccessful results. He attempts to do a Hadouken, but fails. Reality 3DO-T is named after the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer console, in which Super Street Fighter II Turbo, a upgraded version of the original Street Fighter II, was released on. The "T" could also be referring to "Turbo" from the game's title.
The Street Fighter cosmetics were officially revealed and released on February 21st, with a trailer showcasing Agent Jones transporting himself into the Street Fighter universe to transport Ryu and Chun-Li to Reality Zero. The description of the video reads: HADOKEN! The legendary fighters Ryu and Chun-Li from @StreetFighter arrive to the Island as the next set of Hunters 👊 Grab them now!

While no new Street Fighter cosmetics were released during Fortnite: Primal's duration, Chun-Li and Ryu do make cameo appearances in the Zero Crisis Finale story cinematic. Chun-Li can be seen performing a Lightning Kick on Doggo in the background as Agent Jones runs past the Hunters. Then, when Jones spots Peely, Ryu suddenly eliminates him with a Hadouken, covering Jones in his remains. He is seen celebrating his victory before being eliminated by an explosion.
