Wario5Arrow R Yoshi

This sequel to Yoshi's Island introduces new "Baby" versions of characters besides Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Bowser, and one of them is Baby Wario. He appears in levels 3-5 to 3-8 and in 5-8, and his special ability is holding a magnet to attract coins as well as move Magnet Blocks and Magnet Platforms.

Note that while Wario is originally a character from the Mario series, his personality and special ability being based on greed appears to be mainly based on the Wario Land series, so this is considered specifically a link to the Wario series.

9-Volt's "Yoshi" microgame is based on Yoshi's Island. It shows Yoshi on a Post, and the player must tap him once to make him jump and again to have him perform a Ground Pound, which pushes the Post into the ground and defeats the nearby Shy Guys turning them into stars.

Additionally, one one of the unlockable Records is the intro, main theme and ending from Yoshi's Story.

Wario4Arrow L Yoshi

One of 5-Volt's new microgames is based on Yoshi's Island. The player controls Yoshi and needs to jump at the right time to catch Baby Mario's bubble. It's also possible to perform the Flutter Jump by holding the jump button like in the original game. Platforms are added at higher difficulty.

The game also features compatibility with many different amiibo. Scanning a compatible one will make Wario draw a sketch of the character, which can be exchanged for in-game coins.
These include all amiibo from the Yoshi series, with each variation producing a different sketch. These are: (Note that while the main subject is always the same, the background and the style of the painting are randomized each time)

Wario can also draw a sketch of Yoshi by scanning his Super Mario or Super Smash Bros. amiibo. (see here)

WWGIT Microgame YoshisStory

One of 9-Volt's microgames is based on Yoshi's Story. The objective is to collect the indicated number of Yoshi Eggs, which may lie on the floor (or on cloud platforms) or be found in Egg Blocks by hitting them. Level 1 takes place in Treasure Hunt; Level 2 takes place in Cloud Cruising and features an Egg Block; Level 3 takes place in Mecha Castle and features two Egg Blocks. More eggs are required at higher levels and in a two-player game.
Once the correct number of eggs is collected, Yoshi appears and performs his victory dance from the original game.

Note that the plot of Get It Together! involves the protagonists being sucked into the games and they then directly interact with them, so in this case the microgames create an in-universe link.
