Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 features Mametchi, possibly the most famous Tamagotchi and the one considered the mascot of the Tamagotchi series. The logo on his kart is his smiling face, while his "face" to be placed on the player's photo consists of the blue hat-like top of his head.

His character-exclusive kart is a rickshaw shaped like a Tamagotchi shell, trained by a little Tamagotchi wearing a conical asian hat.

His special items are:

  • Mame Block - Taking its name from Mametchi's family, the Mame Family.
  • Bagubagutchi - Mame Family's dog from the Tamagotchi anime.
  • Chibi Syrup
