Note: Due to the specifics of its contract, Arika retained all copyright control for characters and other original elements (such as music) they created for the Street Fighter EX subseries, and thus Capcom has no ownership over these elements and no authority over its uses. As "Fighting Layer" is the name Arika choose to represent these elements as their own series, all links following the first game's release are considered covered under the Fighting Layer series even if the elements in question debuted in the Street Fighter EX series.
