This page explains the appearance of Atari 2600 games within Call of Duty games.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II[]
November 13, 2011
The Call of Duty: Black Ops II map Nuketown 2025 features an easter egg where, if the heads of all the mannequins are shot within two minutes, the screen board will change to the Activision logo and it will be possible for players to play four classic Atari 2600 games by Activision on it. While playing, the player's hands change to 2d hands and are seen holding an Atari 2600 controller, even moving the joystick and pressing the button to simulate the player's inputs.
The map is downloadable and was released as a free bonus to playars who pre-ordered the game, purchased a launch copy, or purchased the "Hardened edition" or the "Care Package" limited special edition of the game.
The featured games are:
- Pitfall II: Lost Caverns
- H.E.R.O.
- Kaboom!
- River Raid
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare[]
November 4, 2016
The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare map Zombies in Spaceland, found in Zombies mode, features an arcade where the player can play various games, including eight arcade cabinets of classic Atari 2600 games by Activision.
The featured games are:
- Spider Fighter
- Robot Tank
- River Raid II
- Pitfall II: Lost Caverns
- Demon Attack
- Barnstorming
- Chopper Command
- Cosmic Commuter
Note that all the featured games are based on Atari 2600 games and weren't even released in arcades, save for Pitfall II (though the version emulated in Infinite Warfare is still the Atari 2600 one).
Among the furniture in the arcade there also is a cocktail table version of Starmaster, though it's unplayable.

November 3, 2017
