This page explains in detail the interactions between the DragonFable series and the Zelda series.
DragonFable
November 31, 2005
One quest in the game consists in collecting the four pieces of the Quad-Force, which is a clear spoof on the Triforce from the Zelda series. The boss of the quest, fought after completing the Quad-Force, is called Gananana, clearly based on Ganon, though his appearance is totally different. Defeating Gananana and completing the quest rewards the player with the Dagger of Eye-Rule, Staff of Eye-Rule or the Sword of Eye-Rule, which names are based on Hyrule, the kingdom from the Zelda series.
Additionally an item in the game is called "Ocarina of Thyme", referencing the titular instrument from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The creators of DragonFable held no right over Nintendo's Zelda, but they only included subtle references to the series.
