Romeo and Juliet and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The Return of the King is a fictional fantasy play created by Class 1-B from My Hero Academia. Although Romeo and Juliet are under public domain, it features references from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter, making these references Type 2.

Prelude (My Hero Academia chapter “Prepping for the School Festival Is the Funnest Part (Part 2)” and episode “Golden Tips Imperial”[]

Neito Monoma mentions the title of the play, including how it’s a fantasy. The title itself is a conjunction of Romeo and Juliet, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Return of the King from Lord of the Rings.

The Play (My Hero Academia chapter “Festival All Day Long!!” and episode “Let It Flow! School Festival!”)[]

Note: Not much has been known, but there was a quick preview about the play.

At the tower, Romeo (Neito Monoma) protects one of his men (Nirengeki Shoda) from the hooded man Count Paris (Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu) in a duel. He tells Paris to return Juliet (Yui Kodai) to him while also referencing the hooded man is the Ghost of Azkaban, the fortress for British wizard criminals in Harry Potter. Paris tells Romeo that he heard his father was the ruler of Gondor, a very prominent Kingdom in Middle Earth from Lord of Rings, based on what either Obi-Wan from Star Wars (manga) or Gandalf from Lord of the Rings (anime) told him. However, Paris corrects him by saying he is the father which Romeo angrily denies, referencing the scene from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back where Darth Vader reveals to Luke Skywalker he is his father.
