Castle of Shikigami, also known as Castle Shikigami or Shikigami no Shiro, is a top-view shoot'em up video game series by Alfa System.

Video games

  • Shikigami no Shiro (2001). Arcade. Later released on PlayStation 2, which was localized in English as Mobile Light Force 2. Properly localized in 2017 as Castle of Shikigami for Steam.
    • Shikigami no Shiro Evolution (March 14, 2002). Updated port for Xbox, coming in two version: Red, which includes a database with material for the series; and Blue, which comes with developer interviews. Later released on PC as Shikigami no Shiro EX.
  • Shikigami no Shiro II (2003). Arcade. Later released on GameCube, PlayStation 2, Dreamcast, Xbox and PC. Rereleased in 2012 for the PlayStation Network in America/Europe only. The PlayStation 2 version was localized in English as Castle Shikigami II: War of the Worlds.
  • Shikigami no Shiro Nanayozuki Gensoukyoku (August 18, 2005). A spin-off visual novel game with shoot'em up elements for PlayStation 2.
  • Shikigami no Shiro III (February 2006). Arcade. Later released on PC, Xbox 360 and Wii, the latter localized in English as Castle of Shikigami III.

Manga

  • Shikigami no Shiro (October 25, 2003 - October 26, 2004). A 3-volume manga by Yuuna Takanagi and Tooru Zekuu.
  • Shikigami no Shiro: Nejireta Shiro-hen (November 26, 2004 - January 26, 2008). A 8-volume manga, sequel of the above.

Gunparade March2003 2003The character Niigi Gorgeous Blue from Castle Shikigami 2 is Yumi Araigi from Gunparade March, with Chrysalis Milch from The Mars Daybreak making an uncredited cameo in her ending, while the character of Nyancopon in The Mars Daybreak is implied to be Fumiko from Castle of Shikigami.1
