Beast is a superhero comic series co-created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and published by Marvel Comics.
A spin-off of the X-Men series, it follows Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy, a member of the first X-Men team. Under the codename "Beast", he is a genius-level intellect with enhanced agility, reflexes, and strength. His mutation furthered while working as a research scientist at the Brand Corporation, a genetics research facility, developing a serum that transformed him into a blue-furred creature with sharp fangs and claws.
