Batman is a superhero series by DC Comics.
The series follows Bruce Wayne, a wealthy playboy and philanthropist who swore vengeance against criminals after witnessing the murder of his parents Thomas and Martha as a child. Training himself physically and intellectually, he dons the identity of Batman, watching over the crime-infested streets of Gotham City at night as he strike fear into the hearts of criminals.
