Ant-Man is a super hero series created by Marvel Comics.
The series follows Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym, an entomologist and physicist, considered one of the smartest humans on Earth. He discovered Pym Particles, subatomic particles which can increase or decrease the size and mass of objects or living beings. He built a suit and, for a time, became the original Ant-Man, fighting beside his future wife, Janet Van Dyne, who had taken on the mantle of the Wasp. Pym was also the creator of the deadly android Ultron.
Other individuals who took up the Ant-Man mantle include Scott Lang, an ex-convict and electronics expert who stole the Ant-Man's Suit to help his sick daughter, earning the mantle after Pym offered to let him keep the suit; and Eric O'Grady, a low-level agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. with a willingness to lie, cheat, steal and manipulate in order to get ahead in life, who steals Pym's latest Ant-Man suit for his own selfish plans, becoming The Irredeemable Ant-Man.
